LED posters for retail stores
A retail store uses an LED poster where a printed poster would hang: at the entrance, by a promotion, at a checkout lane. The poster stands on the floor, needs no wall fixing and changes content from a phone. It is direct-view LED, not an LCD kiosk.

What suits a store
The die-cast LED poster, 640 mm is the starting point: GOB, casters, joining into a wall, and front service, or the aluminium profile 640 with rear door where the back is reachable. At checkouts or other touched points, see the LED poster with acrylic glass screen.
Choosing the pitch
Work from where shoppers look. At an entrance where people pass at 3 m or more, P2.5 shows 256 × 768 pixels. For a promotion read at 2 m, P1.86 or P2 shows 344 × 1032 or 320 × 960 pixels. The pixel pitch guide has the full table.
Behind the store window
An indoor poster behind glass works, but direct sun on the screen lowers contrast and glass can reflect lights. If the window gets direct sun, the outdoor LED poster, 640 mm starts at 4500 nit. See the brightness guide.
Changing content
Load new content over Wi-Fi from a phone or laptop, over LAN or from USB. The poster keeps playing stored content if the network drops.
A wall for a large promotion
Several posters of one pitch can be joined into one screen: two 640 posters make 1280 × 1920 mm. Read the cascade guide.
Questions and answers
Which poster should a store start with?
The die-cast 640 for most stores. Choose rear service if the back is easy to reach.
Do I need to drill the wall?
No. The poster stands on the floor and needs no wall fixing.
What pitch suits a store entrance?
Usually P2.5 or P3.076 when people pass at 2.5 to 3 m or more.
Can I run the poster from my phone?
Yes. Load content over Wi-Fi from a phone or laptop; 4G for remote updates is Optional.
Can several stores show the same content?
Separate posters can play the same stored content; you load it on each poster. A cascade is for one picture across posters.
Is it fine at a checkout lane?
Where the screen is touched or wiped, look at the acrylic glass screen; it is not a touchscreen.
Can I put the poster in a window?
Yes, behind glass and out of direct sun. For a sunny window consider the outdoor poster.
Can I move the poster between stores?
The die-cast 640 stands on casters. Use a flight case (Optional) for travel.
