Packaging: box, flight case or crate for LED posters
Every LED poster ships in a cardboard box with foam inserts, and that is enough for many orders. Two other options exist for other jobs: a flight case and a wooden crate. This article helps you choose, using our packaging page.
- Box
- Flight case
- Crate

The cardboard box
Standard packaging is a cardboard box with foam inserts around the perimeter, included in the base price. The stand is packed separately. It suits one-off deliveries by sea, air or courier. For regular transport, or if the poster is repacked after each display, a flight case is the better choice.
The flight case
A rigid case with a foam insert shaped to the poster, with latches and casters. The poster stays assembled inside, so there is no need to break it down. Cases for 1 to 4 posters are available (Optional), including a case for the double-sided poster and for the 1280 × 1920 mm poster. Choose it for trade shows, rental, air travel and demo units.
The wooden crate
A crate is for several posters shipped as one piece of cargo. The posters are packed disassembled, with cabinets, stands and casters separate, and the wooden frame protects against mechanical stress in sea and air freight. It is available for 1 to 4 posters (Optional).
Weights
Packed gross weights in a flight case, from factory data: one tri-fold poster 133 kg and two tri-fold posters in one case 240 kg. These are packed gross weights, not the weight of the poster. The packing list for your order states the weight and size of every piece.
On arrival
Open the box on a flat floor and move the pieces with enough people for the weights on the packing list. Keep the foam and the box if the poster will travel again; for repeated moves a flight case (Optional) is the better home for it. Keep the stand with its poster so that nothing is lost between events.
A simple choice
One delivery, no moves: the box. A poster that travels again and again: the flight case. Several posters, one shipment: the crate. A 960 poster ships in the standard box like the 640; a flight case for it is a non-standard size and is made to order. Read packaging and shipping and the shipping guide.
