Shipping and Incoterms guide: EXW and FOB Shenzhen
We sell LED posters EXW or FOB Shenzhen. In plain terms: we prepare the goods and the export documents, and you arrange freight, duties and import compliance. This guide explains the two terms and what to prepare.

EXW and FOB

We prepare the goods and the export documents. You arrange freight, duties and import compliance in your country.
Packaging
A cardboard box with foam inserts is standard. A flight case (1 to 4 posters) and a wooden crate (1 to 4 posters) are Optional. See packaging and shipping.
Packed weights
Factory data, packed gross weight in a flight case, not the weight of the poster itself: one 1280 × 1920 mm tri-fold poster 133 kg and two tri-fold posters in one case 240 kg. The packing list for your order states the weight and size of every piece.
Customs code
Finished display devices are usually declared under HS 8528.59. Check the code with your customs broker, because it can differ by country.

What does EXW mean?
Ex Works: the goods are made available at the seller's premises, and the buyer arranges collection and carries costs and risk from there.
What does FOB Shenzhen mean?
Free On Board: the seller delivers the goods on board the vessel at the port of Shenzhen; from then on the buyer carries costs and risk.

Can you ship by air or sea?
The goods are packed for sea, air or road transport. You choose the carrier.
Who pays duties?
The buyer arranges and pays duties and import compliance in the destination country.
